Beware on that one. I dunno if this is a commercial or residential range (someone must know about this particular model). If it's a real commercial range, you'll need to install bigger gas lines and add a VERY powerful and expensive ventilation system to cope with all the extra gas you'll be burning.
You'll also need to keep it 6" away from any wall to meet building codes because commercial ranges get HOT. You might also need a permit from your municipality.
If all of the additional restrictions are true for installing this puppy in the residence, then I am going to need a much bigger kitchen.
But I have seen commercial ranges installed in a pretty small space in a SF bar, and that space is not even 6' x 6', so does that mean they are not in code?
Patrick, you're absolutely correct on all counts. My brother went through all of the problems you mentioned when he was dealing w/his architect. Someone also has to pay for all the gas consumed, but heck if you need it...;)
