Here's a vintage vertical Dormeyer stand mixer that, unlike the otherwise covetable KitchenAids, has a mixer head that can be detached and used separately from the stand.
I did some research and as far as I can tell this dates from the late 1950s or early 1960s. So it may be a collector's item only, although the seller says it's in great shape. Usable or not, it's a gorgeous piece, and the chrome - it is so very shiny. Bidding starts at $24.99 and the auction ends Sunday, October 8.
