The mangosteen article was great. I have never been to Asia but my Asian friends are always going into raptures about mangosteens. They seem to inspire quite the obsession...

Sent the mangosteen article to my sister, who loves the fruit. I find it ironically hilarious that it is the cold climate of Canada that let us import such a delectable tropical fruit.

Talked to a lady working a fruit shop in the Little Saigon area of Westminster, CA. She said that she hoped to have her first shipment of fresh mangosteens this fall.

After I get my mangosteen, I'll want my rose apple next!

After a summer of nationwide temperatures hottest in recorded history, I find it appalling that the New York Times, a seemingly liberal newspaper, would write an article extolling the virtues of fruit which has traveled thousands of miles via plane for us to enjoy.

I am all for new flavors, I also like the silky feel of fur and the ease of driving a car; however, it is this insatiable greed that is digging our collective grave.
