In Cleveland they're talking about award-winning Pinot Noir from Lake County. They also do a roundup of readers' favorite kitchen tools, and recipes for savory bread and Concord grape kuchen.

In Boston they're talking about selecting fresh apples for tarts. They also have recipes for Earl Grey Brownies, Pasta with Bell Peppers and Ham, and Oven Roasted Mussels with Garlic Butter. And with Sweetest Day tomorrow, they're also talking about couples classes at culinary school.

Denver can breathe easy - they're in the World Series - and here's what's on the table; Chicken Schmicken Oxtail Soup, Russian Cream with Berries, and Cedar-Wrapped Salmon. They also take a look at updated sophisticated, grownup Jell-O shots - "fizzy jellied gin and tonic, slices of Campari- grapefruit gelee, or cubes of bourbon, Cointreau, lemon and honey." Yum. Sounds celebratory to us.

In Arizona the Diamondbacks are out, but they're taking consolation in simple, quick meals like Turkey Burgers with Mustard and Rigatoni with Arugula and Olives. They also make a pork tenderloin roast and Pussycat Cookies. They round it out with six bargain reds from Spain.
