The May issue of Saveur was a beauty - it's definitely worth a read if you can find it on the shelves. They have a vivid tour of Mexico City's landmark El Mercado de la Merced, with samplings of many of the traditional dishes still found there. They also look at street food and traditional dishes of India, artisan copper cookware, and Morocco's top television cook. We loved their Kitchenwise section, where they showed how one woman transformed the old library building in her tiny Nebraska town into a house with a great kitchen!

I made the pork & bacon kebabs from the F W grilling article--easy and very tasty, though next time I'll leave out the caraway seeds, since they petrified into hard little chips on the grill, without adding much flavor.
