Struggling to come up with a creative idea for a weekend cocktail party? How about an all-frozen event, with boozy popsicles as the signature "drinks"?

We've mentioned adding liquor to popsicles before; you can add a splash to any fruit concoction (like these watermelon popsicles). But these recipes from Fine Cooking are more sophisticated.

There are Bellini Pops, with fresh peaches and Prosecco, Lemon-Vodka Cream Pops, and Bittersweet Chocolate-Bourbon Pops, which we think might be our favorite. There's not much alcohol in each pop (two tablespoons of bourbon or vodka for eight pops), so you can try all three...

I just received my popsicle molds in the mail last night! Looks like I got the same ones as those used in the photo - http://su.pr/2pInZK

While less-fancy that your recipes, I filled one with orange juice, one with strawberry yogurt & one with left-over granita ( http://su.pr/2VCHPZ )... If only I had thought to add vodka or rum :)

I get a Fine Cooking newsletter email, and these were featured in it, and the subject line in my inbox was "R-Rated Popsicles" And I was all "Why, Fine Cooking, you shock me! How very risque! How positively NAUGHTY...oh they're just made with booze, WELL, NEVER MIND THEN."

You had me a chocolate bourbon. Not only do you need to have the correct temp but too much booze and it won't freeze. I'v already made watermelon margarita pops - now these - yum.

Gah! It seems like all the retailers around here have decided that summer is officially over, and no one has popsicle molds any more! I may have to give up and buy them online...
