Jamie Oliver Will Return to Food Network in January

2007_11_19_jamie_at_home_cover.jpgThe Naked Chef will return to Food Network with a new series, Jamie At Home. The show will premiere on 1/12 at 9:30am ET/PT.

We hear the show will focus on quick, fresh recipes and Jamie Oliver's relaxed cooking style.

Food Network told us that, in each episode, Jamie will focus on a specific ingredient and show viewers several completely different recipes. Look forward for recipes for spicy pork goulash, wild mushroom and venison stroganoff, roast duck and pumpkin salad.

Jamie Oliver previously appeared in shows on Discovery's Travel Channel and TLC.

his is one of the first cook books i bought as an adult and have made many recipies from it - all popular with guests. i remember some pork /peach roulade-type dish that was so easy and delicious.
didn't he also sponsor some cooking school for inner city kids in london? wonder what happened with that.

@Johnp The cooking school is a restaurant - "Fifteen", reviewed here: http://www.toptable.co.uk/venues/restaurants/?id=1701&refid=ggl05&gclid=CNHWpenb648CFQ5lQgod4wXoLw
There are also branches in Cornwall and Australia.

He revolutionised school meals in the UK, which I think is something of an ongoing battle.

I'm glad to see someone like this as a role model in my industry.

We haven't exactly had the best role models.

Alas, I was severely disappointed when I stopped to watch his show in the days when it first aired. Look, on "Two Fat Ladies" you get two fat ladies, right? On "Iron Chef" you get iron chefs, don't you? But on "The Naked Chef" do they pony up? NOOOOOOOOOooooo....

I enjoy the American Iron Chef (Alton Brown is a culinary god) but I admit that the original in completely dubbed format is my heart's favorite and what originally attracted me towards the Food Network in the first place.
