Good Eats: Ham, Brie, and Apple French Toast Panini

2008_03_05-Eats.jpgOne of the things we like most about our friends over at Serious Eats is their unfailing eye for a delicious photo. This one above, of Ham, Brie, and Apple French Toast Panini from Serious Eats' Cook the Book expedition through Panini Express looks so good that we want to go make one now. But then, how can you really go wrong with ham, brie, and brioche?

More Serious Eats below, including another great photo of croissant innards, heart-shaped cucumbers, knorks, and caramel popcorn cupcakes.

Caramel Popcorn Cupcakes - No, seriously. Go and look.

Cutesy Cucumbers from Japan - In Japan (where else?) a co-op of women is selling cucumbers shaped like cute hearts and stars.

Knorks are Cutting Edge - Tired of trying to saw through your pizza with a flimsy plastic fork? Try a Knork.

Photo of the Day: Croissant Innards - Talk about a perfect croissant! Photo by Danny of Food in Mouth.

That panini picture caught my eye on the SE site, too--it looks so good! I always chuckle when they use the word "innards."

That looks amazingly decadent! I seriously want one asap. I bet it would be good with pears instead of apples as well.
