Good Eats: Broccoli and Crisp Garlic

2008_05_01-Eats.jpgBroccoli Sautéed with Crisp Garlic - you don't have to say much more to get our attention. Yes, broccoli is perhaps the most over-used and abused vegetable on the face of the earth, but done right (especially with garlic) it's a quotidian pleasure.

This particular recipe is from Gordon Ramsay and it includes a dash of oyster sauce. This adds a surprising depth and body to a very basic yet delicious weeknight dinner, according to the cook.

More from our friends at Serious Eats below, including video instruction on how to peel kiwi and a chocolate tour of Torino.

Serious Sandwiches: Is There a Better Condiment than Guacamole? - Errr... no? Right?

Luscious, Light Panna Cottas - We adore panna cotta, and this recipe ups it a notch. Yogurt panna cotta with honey. Yum yum.

In Videos: How To Peel a Kiwi - We needed this.

Snapshots from Italy: Torino's Guido Gobino - Chocolate is everywhere in Torino - from the signature drink of bicerin to the gianduja gelato in every gelateria. Here's a look at one of the fine chocolatiers in the city.
