We've been exploring new (to us anyway) food blogs this week, and there's a lot to appreciate and salivate over.
The photos and ideas at Cloudberry Quark are truly inspiring. This Noodle Salad with Spicy Peanut Dressing looks refreshing, and we have to try this Lemon Chili Ice Cream!
Bittersweet also has great photos, and a unique twist: the blog entries alternate between recipes and craft instructions. Check out this Strawberry Clafoutis and the knit kiwi birds.
Bake or Break is devoted to baking, with a well-designed, well-written blog full of helpful resources and recipes. We're liking this Chocolate Wafer Icebox Cake and the recipe for Banana Nut Muffins.
Eating Onions Together is one of those short-lived blogs that we wish would resurrect itself. The author had a thing for Paula Deen and a way with the camera. See this entry on hearing Deen live and review of Deen's Butter Pecan Ice Cream.

I made the noodle salad with spicy peanut dressing, with a few alterations. The bf doesn't like onions so I omitted the scallions, and added some zucchini, broccoli and chicken to make it a little more hardy. It was awesome, and will definitely go into regular rotation at our house!
