I get precooked edamame in the shell and bring a baggie of them with me. Deshelling them slows me down a bit with the mindless eating as I study, and it keeps my hands busy.

I'll also often bring yogurt or apple sauce with me for a study pick me up. And chocolate pudding.

My personal favorite is Alton Brown's Firecrackers.
They're a bit on the spicy side but that's the way I like them. A bowl of these and a Mountain Dew were all I needed to stay awake for a few more hours.

Oooh, I'm having a bunch of people over on Sunday to study; I'll definitely make the chickpeas and set out a bunch of veggies. I'm not sure what else I'll do. Probably a carrot cake.

I see a lot of people eating stuff with peanut butter when they're studying--apples, celery, cold cereal. A handful of nuts and some yoghurt are great pick-me-ups in the middle of serious studying/writing.
