As we reported back in January, CHOW Magazine has suspended their print publication in order to focus on building a website. Originally, the magazine said it would re-launch the print version at some point, but we've just gotten a notice that "there will no longer be a CHOW print magazine."
CHOW has been acquired by CNET Networks, Inc., and will be focusing on building the new site, www.chow.com.
And for those of us with outstanding print subscriptions (I gave several as holiday gifts... you?), we’ll receive a different magazine called Intermezzo, an independent publication about food, wine, home and travel.

interesting . . . CNET also took over Chowhound.com
the regional restaurant review website that has an excellent home cooking board
I got the same postcard last week. I was a little disappointed. I don't see CNET as a center of food journalism, but I'm glad that many of CHOW's people still have jobs. Maybe with Chow and Chowhound, CNET can create some kind of cooking powerhouse.
Intermezzo is a high-quality food glossy. You will really enjoy this pub. See their site at http://www.intermezzomagazine.com/
