Jenblossom stayed in last night and indulged in quite a meal.
They started with a heart-shaped Hudson Valley camembert and a bottle of Aubry Brut that her husband mixed into Kir Royales, then they savored a Niman Ranch pork loin stuffed with bourbon-soaked prunes, celeriac puree, and sauted green beans (the last from their 2005 garden!) With dinner, they drank a Falasco Amarone della Valpolicella 2001.
Even the cats got a little something special.
The dessert course seems to be missing... maybe they didn't make it that far.
