Conscientious Cook: Easy Guide to Organic Produce

2007_10_26-Produce.jpgEasy guide to organic produce. Yesterday we talked about a wallet guide to sustainable seafood, because, really, who can keep up with all the latest news? We can't - we rely on the little card in our wallet.

Here now is a wallet guide for organic produce from Food News and the Environmental Working Group. This little guide will remind you of the most pesticide-laden foods in the produce department (start with nectarines, apples, and celery) and the safest conventional varieties (onions). Check out their website and this wallet-sized guide - they also have some good tips and info on eating organic.
