I am making two sweet (bittersweet chocolate and cranberry) and two savory (Italian cheese and rosemary) batches of shortbreads for Mother's Day brunch. I also hope to make some black bean chili for the week.

Yum, I love savory shortbread. I won't see my mother until next weekend; I'll be surprising her by showing up at her house while she's gone! Not sure what I'm cooking for her yet.
This weekend though is chicken stock weekend and pork chops with a rhubarb wine sauce that I saw on Martha Stewart.
