• Williams-Sonoma has some very good stuff on sale, including a wooden salt keeper with four compartments for different salts. They also have an Easter marshmallow kit (make your own Peeps! Who cares if it's May!) at deep discount, and $40 off a Japanese mortar and pestle.
• Lehman's has a good range of their old-fashioned and eco-friendly products on clearance; we like their Wood-Handled Whisks, available in two styles - French and flat pan. And if only we had the time for serious cheese-making and experimentation! This beautiful Dutch Lever Cheese Press is $40 off.

I can't believe anyone would pay $120 or even $80 for that morter and pestle. I picked one up in Japan on a trip for a few yen. Anyone can find a similar one in any Asian grocery.

It's so funny to see posts about Lehman's here! It's about 30 minutes from where I went to college, in Ohio. It's as old-fashioned inside as you could imagine and you see literally dozens of Amish families in that little town every time you go there. If you're ever in the area, be sure to stop at Heini's Cheese Chalet for free samples in a Swiss chalet atmosphere! ;)

Nicely done with the Lehmans info! I live about 20 minutes from there, their morter and pestles are MUCH CHEAPER than WS! Also their cast iron selection is awesome, along with a lot of other gadgets, some old school, many not!
