Would You Like To Be a Guest of The Kitchn?

2009_05_05-Guest.jpgWould you like to guest post on The Kitchn? We get a lot of emails inviting us to look at some wonderful food blogs; it seems that many of our readers cook, write, and photograph food very, very well. We get so many emails inviting us to look at our readers' blogs, and we can't spotlight as many of these as we would like, but we are going to invite submissions to guest post here on The Kitchn. Want to share something with our readers? Please do -- we would love to have you. Read on for how this works.

Like I said, we get a lot of emails introducing us to new or ongoing food weblogs. We also get quite a lot of inquiries about job opportunities. We probably won't be hiring again any time in the forseeable future, but we would like to find a way to spotlight and feature more of our readers' great cooking and food writing.

If you have a great idea that you think The Kitchn's readers would enjoy, we'd like to invite you to share it! Do you have something you cooked for your blog that you think would also be of interest to Kitchn readers? Let us know! We'll of course link back to your own food blog and show our readers how to find it. We hope to expose a lot of newer food and cooking blogs to our readers through this and send more traffic their way.

If you're interested in submitting a guest post, here are a few things to keep in mind:

Guest Post Guidelines
• You need to be a food blogger or writer with some experience of writing about food.
• We focus pretty much exclusively on home cooking, so please no restaurant or product reviews.
• We probably won't be able to showcase all the guest posts that are submitted. Each post will be evaluated for its helpfulness, beauty, and applicability to our mission and audience.
• Each post needs to have at least one good photo.
• If you're interested in submitting your kitchen for a tour, use this form instead.

OK, want to give us a post to publish here on The Kitchn? Fill out this form and we'll get back to you shortly.
