Today is Family Day: Turn Off the TV and Eat Together

2006_09_25-eat-together.jpgJust got this tip: Today is Family Day, when families are encouraged to turn off their television and have dinner together. Sponsored by, um TV Land, we're a little suspicious of where the publicity is coming from, but for us, this idea is so integral to the way we live in our own lives, that we feel it's a good thing to promote.

But how about turning off the TV and eating together every night? Seems like a good goal to me.

(Thanks, Chris!)

Only when I'm alone and even then I feel guilty about it. Never, ever when I'm with someone.

We allways eat with music in the background.

I'm single. So, yes, I'm either eating in front of the TV or the computer. The computer is on what should be my dining room table. I live in a tiny apartment. ;)
