New Kitchn Editors: Introducing Elizabeth Passarella

In the spirit of growth, new voices, and broader national coverage, this week we are introducing four wonderful new writers who will help nourish The Kitchn on a daily basis. We've introduced you to Emma, Kathryn, and Nina, and today it's our pleasure to introduce Elizabeth Passarella.

Elizabeth is a New York City-based freelance writer and editor who contributes regularly to several national publications. She is originally from Memphis, which means she has a soft spot for casseroles, collard greens, and pork products.

At the moment, her favorite appliance is her KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker attachment, as she believes that ice cream is a year-round food.

Her darkest confession: She's never tried No-Knead Bread. (Soon, though!)

I've never tried no-knead bread, either--no Dutch oven, yet! And I'm coveting at KA ice cream maker attachment and agree that ice cream is always good, no matter how cold out! Maybe there will be posts on seasonal ice creams in our future? ;)
