apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Introducing... Chris Phillips

kitchen-editor-chris.jpgChris is my new NYC co-editor , taking much of the reigns from me as I descend (ascend?!) into baby land.

Chris Phillips was born in Syracuse, NY and grew up in Bethlehem, PA aka Christmas City USA. He discovered his love for cooking in high school while washing dishes and working as a prep cook for a catering company. His favorite foods include cabbage noodles, tuna nicoise, dry aged steak and perfectly poached eggs. Chris started his food blog, Electric Stove, on New Years Day 2006 after a disappointing experience with an award winning chocolate cake recipe.

He’s worked in online marketing for ten years. He is currently the Internet marketing manager for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. Chris recently renovated the kitchen in his Prospect Heights, Brooklyn apartment with much help from his partner, Rich.

Welcome, Chris!
