Yahoo launched a food section yesterday. The new section promises recipes, restaurant reviews, and wine and entertaining reports. Yahoo, the most visited in the U.S., is a search, technology, and online video powerhouse. There's many ways that Yahoo's tools like Del.icio.us bookmarking and Flickr photos can be used by cooks.
Just in time for holiday cooking, many other large online media companies are expanding their food coverage. CNet's recently re-launched Chow and Chowhound are growing and seeking more national advertisers while both Martha and Food Network are expanding their web sites with new, online only content. Epicurious is expanding with blogs and other new features.

Maybe Yahoo was listening to advertisers, or maybe they just watched us here at TasteTV (http://www.TasteTV.com)
