Chef and globetrotting television personality Anthony Bourdain has written some outrageously funny stuff about restaurant kitchens, the day-to-day life of a cook and why you should never order steak well-done. Kitchen Confidential established his reputation as a flamboyant storyteller, slyly self-deprecating and self-aggrandizing in one rakishly charming ride of a book. I think I read it in less than twenty-four hours.
The Nasty Bits, Bourdain's latest collection of kitchen gossip and food travelogue, came out last May, and you can get a copy for absolutely free. Amstel Light and MSN are running a joint promotional offer - click, enter your info, and they'll send you a free copy. Offer is closed to California residents, unfortunately.

Thanks for the info. It is things like this that causes me to turn to you before cheking my Blackberry.
. . . or doing anything that closely resembles work.
Thanks so much for posting this! :-)
Thanks for taking your time to share it with us..I can't wait to read it .
What the ****! Why is it closed to residents of California?
I have read ALL of Bourdain's books (including the novels) and am a huge fan. Nasty Bits is really good. But Kitchen Confidential beats all.
Thanks for keeping us informed of the promotion.
