We've been big fans of our sister home sites' Friday photography feature. Each Friday they post a photograph (often taken by a reader) around a certain theme. This year's theme was Through My Window.
Well, this year we're going to have our own Friday photo feature, and we would love your submissions. Our theme was inspired by a recent reader submission.
Loren sent us this beautiful still life from her kitchen, and then reader Ana sent us several more. One is published above.

Definition: Still life: a representation chiefly of inanimate objects, as a painting of a bowl of fruit.
So we are looking for your submissions. We would love photos of a still life in your kitchen - maybe ingredients arranged for a meal, or your table set to eat? You can play with the theme in whatever creative way you choose. We'll pick the best as they come in and feature them on Fridays.
Also, if you know artists whose photography could fit this, tell us! We'd love to feature them as well.

Oh, the above pictures is a visual reminder of a frisee' bacon avocado salad, plus gouda cheese, dressing is shallots, mustard, freshly chopped tarragon, olive oil and balsamico. Enjoy.

Frisee salad is quite delicious.
I'm making one right now, Lyonnaise salad, with escarole as well. A warm applewood-smoked bacon vinaigrette, croutons and a poached egg.

I stumbled upon this site via a group I belong to - the Daring Bakers. Great ideas on it! But, how do I par-take in all the fun ..... entering photos for the Friday theme, becoming a link, etc..... Thanks! I am hoping to enter the Bittersweet event, but we just found out on the DB group - I have a tart to die for!
