Typhoon Kitchenware

2006_04_28-typhoon.jpg
We first spied Typhoon kitchenware in Saveur's The Saveur 100 issue a few months back. Typhoon is a UK-based design firm with some very colorful cooking tools. Saveur calls its catalog "a work of Pop art."

So far, Typhoon has only been available in Europe, but their US website, Typhoon U.S. should be up and running next month. We look forward to their colorful, playful take on kitchen and cookware accessories.

some of their items can also be found on amazon (very limited selection though). i recently bought an oil bottle made by typhoon from crate and barrel, but not sure if they carry any of their other products.

The typhoonus.com site is up and it's loaded with great stuff for the kitchen and cooking. It's worth a visit and the prices are very reasonable.
