Rental Kitchen Makeover: Cambria's Colorful $80 Budget

Cambria at our sister site Re-Nest just did a quick, loving makeover of her rental kitchen for only $80. She took doors off cabinets, hung pictures, and added some colorful paper for a fast, cozy upgrade.

We loved this quick makeover from Cambria. It makes the most out of a very standard kitchen rental, updating it to feel cozy and colorful. Yes, the cupboards are open and there are lots of things out on display. This might drive some of us crazy, but we think that it's just so much warmer and more colorful. A much nicer place to cook!

You should be proud. Hard to do a nice makeover, without paint in particular, for so little money and without changing something that you can't due to rental restriction. I think that it looks very nice and welcoming.

It definitely looks more warm and interesting. I think the open cupboards would force one to keep things organized.

Making over a rental kitchen is no small feat. As a renter, you are stuck with so much you cannot change in a kitche. So, just the change alone would be worth it to me, even if I decided to put the doors back on the cabinets 2 weeks later!
