I'm going to an Oscar party and am bringing just-out-of-the-oven soft pretzels. My explanation will involve the various contortions some of the Oscar nominees have to go through to get into their various dresses. :)

The Oscars will get along fine without me, I am sure, but I made chicken stock yesterday, and purchased an immersion blender, so the baked potato soup called my name. So two out of three recipes this weekend were the direct result of The Kitchn slinks. The bacon smells great, and I can't wait to tuck into the soup...
