Thank you to everyone who entered our lightning-quick Inspire a Dreamy Meal for Valentine's contest. It was just so fun to see everyone's photos and menus; we may even sneak a few more onto the site tomorrow. We wish we could have posted them all!
Well, we couldn't choose just one, and one of our very nice sponsors gave us an extra Valentine's chocolate basket. So there's one top winner who gets a basket of chocolate plus a bottle of port from The Greene Grape, and another winner who will also have a basket of chocolate shipped off to them shortly.
We tell you about our picks below...
Our top winner was Joyce's Quirky Classics. We were touched by her words on how love does tend to strike in unexpected places, and it's always a balance and a dance. Her quirky yet delicious menu won us too; we felt it was a great entry. Grapefruit sorbet - that didn't hurt!
And our runner-up, Melissa's Amélie Whimsy, is a nod to the classics; we liked how Melissa shared the story about her husband making her creme brulee. Amélie is a favorite around here and we couldn't pass it up. We had some other favorites too - everything was so inspiring.
