Dreamy Meal for Valentine's: Christina's Serendipitous New York Dinner
Christina says...
The idea of romantic serendipity has always inspired me - the thought that somehow, someway, we will happen upon the one we're meant to be with through some happy accident; that it's meant to be. Maybe I am also influenced by the fact that I live in New York City, which is full of so many people and places that one can't help but imagine tons of fortuitous coincidences. In addition to being one of the most romantic cities on earth, it is home of Serendipity 3 (and its famous, share-able frrrozen hot chocolate), as well as the setting for its namesake romantic comedy. So, for this contest, I imagined a rich, aphrodisiac, New York-inspired dinner.

I lived on this street for 9 years and came home one night in early fall to see Christmas decorations on the street and thought "dammit, they have decorations up THIS EARLY?!?!?!?!" Then I came home another night and saw HUGE lights on Third Ave and thought "WTH?!?!?!" and then saw they were filming the scene from this movie when they go into Serendipity 3. Thank goodness that was all it was.
