For bundling up holiday candy, cookies and other goodies, I really like Natural Value's wax paper bags (Aha-Yes, $2.59). They are old-fashioned and sweet, as if they should be stuffed with penny peppermint sticks.
And yet they are also very timely for those of us trying to be eco-conscious - they're non-toxic when burnt and landfill safe. They can go in the microwave, a no-no for plastic bags and styrofoam, but they preserve candies and cookies just as well.
