Eliza, yes this is for use indoors. I've been to restaurants where they have these at the tables and you grill your own meats and cheese. Sort of like fondue or maybe it is considered a fondue. I went to a Christmas party at the north peak of Keystone ski resort in Colorado where they had these. After the Gondola ride up to the top of the mountain you really felt like you were in Switzerland. I would love to win this because that was such a fun party that I'd like to recreate it at home!
