On Weight Watchers? Amber Has Some Great Recipes

2006_01_18-ww-chicken.jpgAmber, a reader, started Weight Watchers around the first of the year. She is working on recipes that are both "low in points and still good." She's posted a couple on her blog, with photos.

Anyone else on the New Year weight-loss plan? No reason you can't still eat well. The best diet is cooking for yourself. There are scads of you here who believe the same thing - band together for support.

Greek Tilapia
Chicken Cacciatore ("sort of")
Italian Casserole ("not Weight Watchers friendly")

(Thanks, Amber!)

I think I'm actually up for trying these recipes. After my 12,456th night of grilled chicken and rice I'm up for anything and these recipes look great. Now if the wind dies down today I'll go out and get the ingredients.

Everybody where I work is on this diet. Maybe I can get some recipes to accomodate the people in my soup club. I haven't really looked at this diet myself, but from the time I started cooking for myself about five years ago, I've dropped about 25 pounds. I didn't really do anything to "try" to lose the weight. I think it was just eliminating all the processed stuff.

I work at Weight Watchers and I just wanted to point out you can get free recipes on their website at www.weightwatchers.com

After trying many of their recipes I now always add extra spices and ingredients cause they do tend to be bland.

thanks for the recipes! i can't wait to try them.
