Help Me Find a Dish Soap Dispenser That Doesn't Drip!
Good Question

2009_07_13-Soap.jpgSheila is looking for a better soap dispenser. Can you help? She writes:

I'm looking for a good-looking dish detergent dispenser that I can keep on my kitchen counter that actually works. I want one that doesn't continue dripping soap onto the counter after use.

Sheila, we've heard good things about this Sascha Kaposi dispenser, which is only $11 at risd|works:

Good Product: Sascha Kaposi Soap Dispenser

But the readers may have some other good recommendations too!

I keep my dish liquid in an olive oil drizzler similar to what is here:

When I saw that soap dispenser, I thought that it was olive oil -- now I'm thinking that using a soap dispenser for olive oil might be a good idea! A premeasured squirt each time...

My suggestion is to change the consistency of your soap rather than your dispenser. I water mine down so that the gloopy drop doesn't stay on the pump after i've pumped it. Plus i end up using less soap!

Thanks. I like the product you suggested except it's see-through and as particular as I am, I'd have to find a dishsoap to match my kitchen! But the idea about watering down the soap sounds like a good one as I have several dispensers I like the looks of sitting in the "give-away" box and may be able to get them to work better with the watered down soap. thanks again. sheila

I have this, and think it works well. I haven't noticed any dripping.

I use an olive oil dispenser. I *love* it. I think I used less this way too. Just pick up a dispenser top for a couple of bucks and put it on a bottle of your choice. Easy, cheap, and fairly green. :)

Not really related, but loosely so.

I use an olive oil dispenser, too. (As mentioned above me.) I read on here a few weeks back about diluting the soap with half water, and I just have to say THANKS. Works perfectly.

This is pretty much the exact same thing, but they use blue soap in the image and it's on Amazon. It's a good filler item for the free shipping if you can find something else to add up to $25. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002MQZMI/ref=s9_simx_gw_s0_p79_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0SDJM32M0FKR1DJRPTBT&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938631&pf_rd_i=507846
