Yesterday Mark Bittman had an article dedicated to the smoothie, and at this time of the year when we rely so heavily on well, heavy foods, it would be a lovely change to have a healthy, refreshing, and light smoothie. So maybe with oranges now in season, some mint, and maybe pomegranate uice whirled up with honey and greek yogurt. Never tried this combo, but the thought of it is making me salvate. Mmm.

Thanks!

I am so excited to see a blender on the giveaways! We have been blenderless for a while - since the last one's jar broke. We've been making do with a stick blender, but it just leaves most things lumpy. So - one thing I would make is smoother pureed soups and applesauce. We are also expecting our first baby in May, and the need for a blender has become more immediate since we want to make our own babyfood.
