Every year we do a rather ad-hoc Un-Gift Guide here at The Kitchn. It's intended to help you think creatively about gift-giving, and to help you get in the kitchen as you cook up sweet gifts for friends and family. We usually offer suggestions for homemade gifts, good food, and just a few very practical tools. There are plenty of places where you can find more traditional gift guides and "solutions" for every list and every budget, but our guide is a little different.
