Good Product: Trio Herb Pot

Just in time for St. Patrick's Day and Spring, this cheerful and bursting-with-green Trio Herb Pot from A+R Store is perfect for our windowsill.

We love the clean, simple Scandinavian design of this three-herb ceramic pot. It's one single pot with three openings - simply put the plant in an opening, and add water via the small opening in the corner. The design uses a broad base to allow the herbs access to water without being waterlogged, and allows air to circulate. The pot comes apart for easy cleaning.

We already know the perfect windowsill to put this on, but we can't decide which herbs to buy. Sage, basil, rosemary? Thyme, mint, chives? Which herbs would you choose?

I wouldn't put mint in this pot because it would take over the whole container! Of course, if you're a big fan of mint, that could be a good thing ...

Nougat - it's more of a storage vessel than an actual planter. You add water to the base to keep the herbs fresh.

I bought this after seeing it featured in an earlier post and I like it alot. Right now, I am using it more for displaying flowers, but as soon as the farmer's market gears up again, I will use it for herbs.

ohhh, i thought it was a planter! i see now that it's more like a vase - i had to stare at it and then read the description a few times. i still think it's smart and smart lookin'!

Don't you need to store cut herbs in the fridge? I tried storing cilantro in a water filled vase on my kitchen counter and it wilted within a few days.

Am I doing something wrong?
