Just what you need!
This Peter Petrie Egg Separator, a.k.a. "the most unappetizing kitchen tool ever" is yours, for only $14.95 from the What on Earth catalogue.
Hey, at least it's not plastic.

Hail America, the over spending consumeristic society. You can have the ever ending list of appliances and tools all over your house but do not cook with them. An european guy who has an american partner once remarked, " americans does not have the culture of cooking". However they do not tire to eat at restaurants even on all snowy day.
That's not too useless (would be for me though, since I rarely have to separate eggs)...although it is kinda gross. Here's another gross egg separator.
As for the other commenter, I have to admit that there are loads of kitchen utensils in my house that we don't use. We have a muffin tin, but how often do we make muffins? I used the cookie press once since it was lonely. And there's a waffle maker, for all those non-existent waffle cravings. My parents are Chinese though, so I'm not sure what that says. Maybe I should hijack the waffle maker.
This is soooo wonderfully tacky that I would take it over that terra cotta brown sugar doohickey ANY day.
Oops, here's the other one:
