New from Chef'n: The Grabbit

2008_03_21-Grabbit.jpgWe just talked about Chef'n and their VeggiChop manual food processor, but given that rabbits and bunnies are in the ether this weekend we had to show you another of their new products: The Grabbit.

These are large, one-handed salt and pepper grinders with a sense of humor. We liked the curved, ergonomic handles (ears?), actually, and they felt very comfortable in the hand.

Rabbits and grinders - a good design match! Who knew?

These do not appear to be available yet, but we'll let you know when they are.

That looks way cuter than this bunny pepper grinder I've seen, but it also looks way bigger. Bad for tiny apartments with tiny kitchens :(

i really need to get myself a one-handed pepper grinder...which i imagine is the beauty of this one, right? squeeze the ears? two hands are never clean at the same time hehe.

unfortunately, i have a current lazy obsession with those cheapie mccormick throwaway pepper grinders at the grocery store. everywhere i've seen peppercorns they're really expensive, but when i see a mccormick it's only 2 bucks.

Those are pretty cute! Though we already have about 4 pepper grinders, 2 grinding, 1 one-handed, and 1 electric, can't ever have enough fresh pepper in this house! Yum!

I do love their palm peeler and palm scrubber though!

kdkaboom--more expensive pepper usually is worth the money! I shop at Penzey's spices, http://www.penzeys.com/cgi-bin/penzeys/shophome.html and don't find their prices out of line for the quality you get. Be forewarned, if you do check the site out for peppercorns, you may end up buying--or going to a store if nearby and getting--plenty of other of their awesome goods and spending a lot more!
