Kitchen Cleanup: Mini Robo Vacuum

2009_01_27-Robot.jpgNow for something completely different. We saw this Mini Robo Vacuum at Fred Flare and couldn't resist. This little droid is a mini-vacuum for your tabletop and kitchen counters, zooming around to pick up flour, breadcrumbs, and other little spills.

2009_01_27-Robot02.jpgComplete unitasker? Yes. A little silly? Absolutely. He also only takes AA batteries -- much less preferable than a rechargeable battery.

But the idea of crumbing our nice tablecloths after dinner with one of these little robots is almost too good to pass up. It's the 21st century, after all; if we can't have our jetpacks yet then maybe a breadcrumb robot will have to do.

I just use my Dustbuster. Works like a charm! (It doesn't hurt that the apartment is less than 400 square feet total.)
