Now this is brilliant: an integrated cutting board and scale. Chop vegetables and herbs, then push them into the scale area to weigh. We love this; it's a great multi-use tool, and it's even powered by a long-life photovoltaic battery.
The down side? It's just a concept right now, created by giffin'termeer for a kitchen design competition. Too bad, because we would totally buy one.
I have a feeling that they're not manufacturing it anymore, but Glide inc. in brooklyn has had one of these out for a while. Totally beautiful, and way to expensive.
