Making our own mini-bags turned out to be a really good bargain. From our $12 bag of whole beans, we made a dozen little stocking stuffers. Since the store was selling their samples for $1.99 each, we saved ourselves half of what we would have spent! Each bag holds enough beans for one large pot or several individual cups of coffee.

We were lucky enough to score some extra sample bags from the store itself, but there are plenty of other packaging options. Here are a few sources we found around the web:

You could also fold your own origami boxes and then tie it closed with a ribbon. Here's a tutorial:

For the labels, we just bought simple white sticky labels from our local stationary store and used a sharpie to write on each one. The label also holds the bags shut.

These will be going to relatives all over the country - we can wait to spread a little cheer from Boston!
