Hell's Kitchen: Down to the Final Three

2007_07_23-gordon-ramsay.jpg"Yes, chef."We stuck with Hell's Kitchen this long because we had one favorite contestant.

Warning: Spoilers after the jump ...

We jumped online quickly tonight to say -- of all the contestants on this summer's three cooking reality shows -- Julia from Hell's Kitchen was our favorite.

Julia was the must exciting competitor and made amazing progress from week to week. We were suprised to see her run end tonight. Gordan Ramsay seems to have decided that she didn't have the experience to run her own restaurant right now, but we're wondering if any of the final three do.

Ramsay sweetened up for a few seconds at the end of tonight's show. He said that he saw something special in Julia. Ramsay said he would personally pay for Julia's cullinary education and then invite her back to his kitchens.

I actually cried when GR said he'd pay for her to go to culinary school. Although I really, really wanted Julia to win and believe she's capable of running a kitchen, she does need that extra little bit of training in this level of cooking. I can't believe, however, that whiny teenager Bonnie is still on this show. Guess that's a reflection of what a weak crop of chefs they picked this time.

I think most people who have been watching wanted her to win.
I don't know if it's the underdog philosophy... or if it's the fact that she's the only one who left her attitude at the door... or what.
But I really really hopes she takes Chef up on his offer, because she has alot to offer!

agree completely. Don't care at all for the remaining 3 unless they pull off some amazing editing in the final episodes.

I have to admit it, I too held back the tears when GR offered to pay for Julia's culinary school training. She may have not been the best chef but she had heart and determination and showed the most progress throughout the show. Plus, you have to love the fact that the Waffle House cook outlasted some professional chefs! YOU GO GIRL!

I really really really hated to see Julia go. And I must say with me it started off as the "Go Underdogs", cause that is mostly who I always root for. But Julia surprised the heck out of me because she shut everyone up like she said she could. They kept throwing in her face she was a Waffle House cook, but where she worked had nothing to do with her talents. To me she was one of the most softest personalities, one of the most improved, and seemed to get more compliments than anyone else from Gordon. Once they took her off the show, I almost didn't finish watching it, because at that point, I really didn't care who made it to the final two or who won. Since I live in Atlanta and so does Julia, I am going to visit her restuarant where she is now and congratulate her for being a real show stopper and showing everyone just because you didn't go to or finish school, your passion, determination, and drive can still shine through in the end.
