What is it about the idea of 200 cake plates or 100 salt and pepper shakers in the same place that gets us all giddy inside? Eddie Ross recently had magnificent adventures, backstage in the prop department at Food Network and we won't lie, we're terribly jealous!
A Tour Of The Food Network Prop House
There's row upon row of stemware and cocktail shakers, an entire rainbow and then some of table linens and fabulous antique and vintage finds including dinnerware and books! How much fun would it be to have that type of kitchen arsenal at your finger tips? Every meal would surely be a party!

Gosh. I was wondering how they do that - I've seen a few minutes here and there of show of Sandra (I can't recall her last name - she's the lady who makes disgusting "75% prepared" food) and every time she has a whole different kitchen! Different colors of everything! I couldn't figure out how that happened - it's good to know.

I work in props in NYC and desperately want to work there! Dishware/kitchen stuff is always my favorite thing to shop for in a production.

I like to drop by Eddie's blog and am always on the lookout for kitchenware, especially love bakeware or barware Don't have tv, so no food network. Isn't that in The Chelsea Market? Always go there when in NY. It's like Disneyland for cooks/eaters.
