While preparing the final Spring Cure post over on Apartment Therapy, we came across the kitchen of Fabien Barral in Auvergne, France. His home has graced several magazines in the UK and we're privildged enough to be able to share them with you today. The kitchen is amazing in it's own right, but we specifically love what's been done to the refrigerator...

We have a soft spot for vinyl graphics in the home when they are used creatively and make a home feel cohesive, instead of mere words or designs on a wall. Fabien has a great eye for putting them to use in his home, especially in his kitchen.

If you look closely at the vintage storage tins on the wall, you can see the iconic boullion kub packaging that Fabien drew his inspiration from for the redesign of their older refrigerator. Their old refrigerator worked just fine, but they didn't think it brought anything to the room visually since it was a little behind the times, so instead they gave it a face lift and covered it's surface. Paint and some vinyl decals later, it's not only the focal point of the room, it's a feast of color and design!

Make sure to check out more of Fabien's breathtaking house or his other design work if you have a minute. Thanks Fabien!

Can't remember the name, a kid's PBS show from the 90's, had a fridge painted and fitted with a top to look like a giant milk carton.
