The Food Section does a great food in film feature (Egg in a Basket from V is For Vendetta), just like our own Celluloid Pantry... imitation is flattery.

Heidi at 101 Cookbooks goes all out with some food photography experiments - her amazing shots are why we go to her site every day.

It must be Kitchenaid buying season. Clotilde at Chocolate & Zucchini unwraps her brand new stand mixer. How did she know mine is on its way?

seriously? you write a kitchen/foodie blog and you don't have a kitchen aid mixer? wow.
I live in a 250sqft apartment... had one in my last place, but had to give it up. This is a second for a book project I'm working on. Easy, there!
Sadly I had to leave my Kitchenaid mixer in California when I moved to New York (it's on temporary loan to my sister). I do miss it but have learned that it is not a crucial item in my kitchen. Granted some tasks are longer and more difficult but it is not unheard of to get by without one.
Ohhh, I really want a mixer. Maybe it really is mixer buying season.
I left my KitchenAid in NY when I went to LA in 2000. I've missed it. I'm back in NY and will be relocating to the San Francisco bay area in approx. one year and can't wait to buy another when I'm settled. It's simply the best thing ever made but they do need some space. I don't have space right now.
Jenny: Maybe I could talk your sister into selling me yours :)....
I did it. After much hand-wrininging, I bought a Kitchen Aid this weekend. Now I need some recipes to check it out. Any ideas?
