It's happened again - a friend is getting married in the fall and I enthusiastically volunteered to make all the food for their dessert reception. Then I discovered that the guest list numbers about 350! So this will be a big undertaking, and I plan to blog it all.
The friends are young and very capable of DIY - she is making her own dress from a sophisticated pattern she developed herself, and friends are pitching in on other aspects of the wedding too. It will be set on a lovely old estate in the rolling countryside of eastern Ohio. We'll post the menu sometime later this week - an autumn menu of desserts for a warm, smoky evening in the country. Stay tuned.
I'm also pitching in on a wedding, so I'll be excited to see what you decide to do. The guest list is only about 30, and we're hosting it on the rooftop deck of our apartment. Should be lots of fun!
