Despite Grant's apologetic statement "they taste better than they look," we think they look absolutely lip-smacking.

Grant (and his blog and apartment) rocks! The narrative and pics that accompany most recipes are so useful.
I made the apple crisp the other day and have loved every morsel.
Am now torn between making the PotsDeCreme or the ChocolateCake Souffle recipe he has posted.

Grant's kitchen looks so clean and I love how he takes perfect pictures of each step in his recipes! Cook books could learn a lesson from his approach.
I feel like I should point out that the kitchen seen in these pictures is not actually mine. Rather it belongs to my friend Annie. She'd be very flattered to know that people like it.
JenPDX - I'm so pleased that you loved the apple crisp. Once peaches are in season I think I might make them into a crisp using the same topping.
Chris - I'm glad you like the pictures. I think they are really helpful. I'm sort of reluctant to make a recipe when I haven't seen a picture of the finished result.
