When the results of Designboom's Dining in 2015 competition were revealed at the end of January, we were absolutely fascinated by all the creative, witty, and beautiful designs. There were dozens and dozens of entries from all of the world. We're going to spotlight a few of our favorites each Friday.
One of the major trends we noticed in these up and coming designs was the idea of adaptable cutlery that you wear or that molds to your hand in some way. Check out a few from this trend and tell us, would you use cutlery that fits over your fingertips?

Interesting, but mostly, now I feel like watching Edward Scissorhands. I wonder if there's enough grip with the Ghirardello design for the knife to really cut well.

Maybe I am weird, but I find those finger utensils strangely awesome. I really want to try them. Anyone else with me?

I'm really disappointed. I thought the set in the top photo were of captain hook size, so you'd put your entire hand inside. I think they'd be more useful that way, and funnier.

These could be dangerous if the wearer is someone who gestures a lot while talking. As my dear Grandma used to say "Horseplay leads to tragedy. It's always fun until somebody loses an eye."

I love these! My brother collects weird cutlery and sporks and these would make excellent gifts. Are these available to buy? Or does anyone know where I can find something similar?
