this is definitely worth a try.

Boy, I'm all set to buy three of these in time for Christmas, and their website is buggy and I don't dare put my credit card number in there. And I can't find a phone number anywhere. I've filled out their Contact Us form; we'll see what happens.

But isn't it easy enough to just take the bowl off and rinse it? As someone who owns *way* too many kitchenaid attachments (and loves them all!), I feel skeptical about something with such limited utility...

I can't wait until they come out with this for my bowl lift mixer. I'm always trying to scrape as I'm mixing and I've sent way too many scrapers flying through my kitchen.

With all the attachments and such that KA has come up with so far, I'm surprised they hadn't done this already! Will definitely have to check it out.

This is very cool. If I had room for a stand mixer, I would have one of these too!

But lovelyfood, this isn't about cleaning the bowl, it's about scraping the sides down for even mixing. I would love to have this for cake batters, since stopping to scrape the sides of the bowl is, for me, the biggest pain in the butt in the whole process (I always make a mess).

Does this scrape the bottom, too? For $2, I am so getting this, and only wish I could have had it when I was doing wedding cakes.

They did e-mail me back, and offer to call me up to get my credit card number. So we'll see.

I would love to try it out, but have to wait for the attachment for my bowl-lift KA.

Holy cow, this is awesome.

All it takes is one time sticking a rubber scraper into a moving Kitchen Aid mixer blade to sell you on this idea for the rest of your life.

It is shocking someone hadn't thought of this sooner. I loved the checked pattern it made in the bowl as it worked. I'm so getting this as well.

Wow! Awesome! I will put it on my wish list. Right after a stand mixer. Which is right after the number one thing on my wish list, a large enough kitchen to house a stand mixer.

I love the idea of this, but I'm one who never brings butter to room temp before whacking it in the mixer, so I wonder if it would survive my and my mixer? Brilliant idea, just the same.

GREAT IDEA!! ...because I was just baking my famous red velvet cake LAST NIGHT and hating how much I had to stop the mixer, get the rubber spatula and scrape down the sides and then go back to mixing every couple minutes.

This is just great. I hope it works just as good as it suggests.

I did finally get one (and two others to give away), and I like it a lot. It doesn't completely obviate the need for a spatula, but it does mix everything much better.

i purchased one of these in December and am happy to report that after using it on 2 separate occasions, I'm thrilled! It works great and I feel that it is totally worth the $25. (I hesitated at first....)

I love the idea of this. I see more garlic mashed potatoes in my future. So to get a head start: Gong Hay Fat Choy!

That mixer looks amazing. And I'm sure that it works better than it looks. It really worth's to give it a try.
