Look! Cute Measuring Cups at Anthropologie

2009-05-18-MeasuringCups3.jpgWe were wandering through the homewares department at Anthropologie when we spotted the set of measuring cups above. Then we spotted another set...and another...and another! Everywhere we turned, we saw more sets, each more adorable than the last. Take a look!

In all honesty, we can't see using these measuring cups for everyday, practical reasons. But it would make us smile to see them lined up on the windowsill above our kitchen sink. We could also see using them as salt and pepper cellars, or to hold things like toothpicks and olive pits at a cocktail party. And wouldn't you love to receive a set as a housewarming gift?

They range in price from $28 - $36. Some of them are available online, but we saw many more versions at the store.

A girlfriend gave me the swans as a gift last year and they decorate my dresser. I just love them!

I would definitely use these, and display them.

I'd be worried about the necks on the swans snapping off but the rest of them seem usable.

I gave these as a gift to my sister-in-law almost two years ago and none of the necks have snapped yet... They are so cute I may just have to get a set for myself!

The swans are a ripoff of a vintage design- my mother gave me a set of plastic vintage ones a few years back. I love them- they nest beautifully and look adorable on my counter, which is good cause I use them all the time. I'm kinda mad that now everyone is going to think I bought them at anthropologie.

I have the bottom set in both the greens & blues. While cute, they are incredibly inaccurate. I did a test run and compared with my normal measuring cups - nottttttt even close. They fancy up my windowsill nicely though.

I've had the swans for a couple of years and haven't had a problem with the necks snapping off. They are pretty sturdy. I love them!
