We've given you tips on how to clean a coffee grinder, but another really useful tool specifically for this purpose is the coffee grinder brush.

Essential oils and coffee particles build up in your coffee or espresso grinder, and these can eventually degrade into an acrid sludge that really affects the taste of your fresh ground beans. It's good to wipe out your grinder every day, and to clean it really thoroughly when you have time.

This brush is good for those daily cleanings, whisking out all the fresh ground particles. It's from Espresso Parts and it's only $4.04. It has a long wood handle and stiff bristles to brush out the residue of your morning coffee grounds.

This Cuisipro grinder brush is more expensive, but it's awfully sleek. It goes for about $11 usually, but we've seen some reports that the bristles fall out frequently.

If you don't want to buy a brush, check out our tips (make sure to read the comments too!) on how to clean a coffee grinder naturally and without any chemicals.

My coffee grinder has a little brush that snaps into the side, now admittedly it has never been used for coffee, but it works great for spices.

i just use a regular pastry brush to do this, and it seems to work pretty well.
